Girl’s camp kicked off when we left Johnsonville Monday morning on our Journey to El Rancho. Our first activity when we arrived was horse riding, a couple of the girls were not too keen on getting up close and personal with the horses, but given a boost up on the horse and a pat on the back we all went for a ride. Following that we had a go at the Low Ropes and Archery which the girls really enjoyed.
Back to the cabins we went and all put in our share to cook tea, clean up and have girl’s fun times.
Rise and shine for day 2 of camp, made our breakfast cleaned up and we were off for more fun and games. We all went and had some fun on the Water Slide which was awesome, and followed this with a swim in the pool.
Soon after the boys had returned from sleeping in the bush to come and join us at El Rancho.
We all went for a long walk to the beach, went swimming once again, even found a couple of crabs along the way, had some sand fights and got all sandy and dirty and returned back to El Rancho were we had a big dinner all prepared for us.
We then had a few activities played Spotlight out in the middle of the forest, and called it a day after that.
Last day we were all up and cleaning the cabins scrubbing floors and doing dishes, we cleaned up the place and made our way to Andy’s were we went for a swim and a spa, the boys helped Andy make a bar-leaner, followed by pizza for lunch.
Over all camp went really well, it started off a little bit rocky but we all managed to pull through and have an awesome time, over come some fears of horses and heights as the flying fox was a bit of a challenge for some people, but in the end all of the girls and boys gave it their best shot.
