It truly does take a community to raise a child and we could not do this without you.
50% of our young people participating in our programmes do not have access to private transport or enough money to pay for public transport. Others are not safe to travel and need to be collected from home or their care givers place.
Our camps and youth development programmes also need a van or two to transport participants - not to mention our sports, cultural and drama teams!!!
Our Toyota Hiace has faithfully carried thousands around Wellington and New Zealand for over a decade and is on its last legs- 290,000 kms is a pretty good innings!! The Black Caps would be proud of those numbers!! So please help us to get another van!!! Can you or your business help us with this problem??? Yes we know there is a shortage of money and hard times - thats why we are asking!!!

It'll make a huge difference to our work scheme's effectiveness and our stress levels and will assist us to do all the odd jobs that we do for every one!!! If we can't put our gear in something how can we help????
My name is Manu I’m 19 years of age and have been a full time employee at Challenge 2000 for just over a year. My role at C2K is in a way Andy Murray’s right hand man on work projects.
We as a team try to raise funds for C2K by doing jobs for others, but we also give a lending hand when needed such as mowing lawns, removing rubbish or just odd jobs for people that can’t do some things for themselves. We do a large range of work from tree work to building decks and retaining walls. Our latest couple of jobs have been firewood, mowing lawns, fencing, section cleaning for the Friends of Mount Street Cemetery and putting up Marquees. I also help out at camps and do some sports and recreational activities with young people. All this is impossible without wheels – please help. Ta.
